Bei Betrachtung der Opern Mozarts legt die Forschung meist einen Akzent auf formale Entwicklung. Diese Vorlesung versucht ästhetischeund soziologische Einflüssen in Mozarts Werk nachzuspüren und die Frage zu klären, warum Mozart einige seiner Opern nie zu Ende komponierte. Pri pohledu na Mozartovi opery soustreduje se veda na formalni vyvoj. Tato prednaska se snazi objevit sociologicke a esteticke vlivy Mozartovi okoli v operni tvorbe Mozarta a tim najit odpoved na otazku, proc Mozart nektera sva operni dila nikdy nedokoncil.
