- Syllabus
- 1. Existing basic information and hypothesis about the activity of human brain. Functional models of the activity of the brain. Rhytms of brain activity. Theory of brain hemispheres. 2. Phylosophy of mind. Mind-body problem: physicalism, mentalism, dualism, identism. 3. Functional model of mind according do K. Pstružina. Horizontal and vertical sections of mind. Explanation of basic terminology of mind: receptors, perceptions, criterion of pain and delight, unconsiousness, generators and inhibitors of mind, thinking, decision taking, creativity, reflexes, perceived reactions. Seminar papres and discussion.
