- Course objectives
- After the course the students will be able to: to interpret the most important of Hegel´s early works and its fundamental questions to explain it place in the history of German idealism; to show its position in the totality of Hegel´s philosophical system. Students will be able: to explain its differences from Kant´s and Fichte´s philosophy to further their knowledge of German philosophy on the basis of acquired knowledge.

- lecture discussion written essay - seminar paper
- Assessment methods
- The form of instruction is lecture. Attendance is not required, knowledge of subject matter is required. Course completed by colloquy in the form of discussion over written essay - seminar paper. The minimum extent of the essay is five norm pages and it must be handed in at least two weeks before the date of the colloquy. Later works will be ignored. The subject of the paper is open. However it must be related to the work of Hegel.
