- On completion of this course, students should be able to recognize, utilize and submit academical paperworks following the standards adopted by portuguese speaking countries.

- The students will learn how to: - Set a theme for research

- Teaching methods
- theoretical definitions of basic concepts and their exemplification on specific texts from various authors readings of classic texts of philosophy (in portuguese language), newspaper articles and classic texts of brazilian literature.
- Assessment methods
- The evaluation process will be continuous. Each technique presented students should apply it in practice on texts listed at the end of each lesson. At the end of the course, students will write an article on a topic proposed that will ensure 50% of the final grade.
