Course objectives
Serbian language course, repeating and extending the complete and complex knowledge of Serbian language that has been made after completion of language courses, courses of practical language translation courses and theoretical seminars on Serbian language.
Syllabus
  • During the semester emphasis will be on the analysis of newspaper articles from the Serbian newspapers and magazines (columns, criticism, essays) and the analysis of stories and songs of contemporary Serbian authors. Analysis of texts will include different grammar parties, attention will be paid to the syntactic analysis of the text, as well as to expand students' vocabulary (phrases, slang).

Teaching methods
Serbian: Seminars, 1½ hours per week, plus half an hour tutorials to be arranged individually with students.
Assessment methods
The course has a form of a class discussion. Active participation in the seminar (which is allowed a maximum of 3 absence)10%, homeworks 10%, written test 50% and oral exam 30%.
