Course objectives
The course represents an introduction to problem of multimedia in a broader context of art manifestos and their concrete application. Although multimedia seem to be rooted in the realm of digital media in 1980's, in a broader "archaeological" sense we can track the basic principles back to artistic and theoretical approaches of 19th century. Participation in the course presupposes active reading.
