Course objectives
During the vacation after the 3rd year of study the students will pass Field Practice III, which takes place at the Rokštejn fortified castle or at the excavations carried out by the Archaeological Institute AS CR, Institute of Archaeological Care of Historical Monuments, museums or other archaeological institutions. Selected number of students may participate in archaeological research abroad (the Near East, the Mediterranean).

Teaching methods
Involvement in archaeological research in the castle Rokštejn or another archaeological research in the Czech Republic or abroad). The students will learn methods of documentation of archaeological research, stratigraphy, data processing, collaboration with related disciplines in the field and evaluation of sources.
Assessment methods
credits for active participation in the preparation, documentation and exploitation of archaeological find situations.
