Course objectives
1. Work with the information about the cultural history of Czech-Scandinavian relations
2. To explain the theoretical background of literal translation.
3. To be able to interpret tha main cultural tendences in the contemporary Scandinavian literature
Syllabus
  • Osnova: - Význam uměleckého překladu v české kultuře
  • - Dějiny norsko-českých literárních vztahů v překladech
  • - Stylistické zákonitosti a porovnání aktuálního stavu jazyka výchozího a cílového – lingvistická perspektiva
  • - Proces a fáze překladu uměleckého díla
  • - Norský literární management: nakladatelství, profesní svazy, knižní kluby – organizační perspektiva
  • - Orientace na českém vydavatelském a nakladatelském trhu
  • - Otázka překladatelské relevance v současné literatuře, zaužívané mechanismy převodu, ekonomické aspekty
  • - Motivy a žánry současné norské literatury, komerčně úspěšní autoři
  • - Setkání se skandinávskými autory a autorkami – internetový kanál
