Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain the developing of the theme of the lake; work with information on its relationship on the biblical and ancient source of these themes; interpret chosen texts.
Syllabus
  • 1. the function of the theme of the nature in the Czech Baroque literature; 2. changes of the theme in the both spiritual and secular poetries (symbols of the island and of the labyrinth); 3. analyzes of the chosen texts
