Course objectives
Students will be informed about theory and methodology of collective memory. At the end of the course students should be able to identify collective memory, understand and explain its place in culture and society. They will learn practical skill to process and analyse a traditional and contemporary narrative folklore which includes elements of collective memory; and a method of oral history. On base of these experiences they should be able to make field research and to interpret collective memory as a culture phenomenon.
