Course objectives
Humanism as a cultural-historical phenomenon. Spreading od renaissance humanism from Italy. Renaissance humanism in the Kingdom of Hungary - chronological milestones, main representatives. Pars pro toto: Personage of Valentinus Ecchius; reading and analysis of his poem Vita divi Pauli Eremitae.
