- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is an overview of the history of Gothic architecture in Bohemia and Moravia, namely in the broader kontext of Central Europe. At the end of the course students should have basic knowledge of fundamental literature, should be aware of the historical kontext and they should also be able to understand and explain regional and general phenomenon of architecture and its decoration. They should be able to recognize different methodological approaches to research in this area not only history of art, but also history, archeology and monument care.
