Course objectives
Students should get to know styles of European theatre directing in the 20th century.
Students should be able to analyse and interpret selected performances and read studies about selected directors.
They should be able to describe key elements of styles of some contemporary directors and determine roots of their methods.
Simultaneously they should be able to describe, how Czech directors are influenced by foreign directors.
