- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: - formulate a research topic and its hypothesis - realistically evaluate methods, sources and extension of a research projekct - to present theses of the research to the colleagues
- Syllabus
- 1. Popular culture and cinema in the Nazi Germany. 2. Popular culture and cinema in the late 1930s, Czech-German relationship. 3. Movie hits - viewers´ preferences in the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia. 4. Local cinema culture - distribution and exhibition in Brno during the Protectorate. 5. Basic characteristics and functions of the period discourse on the example of selected film periodicals.
