- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: (a) understand and explain concepts of narrative theories from different perspectives, (b) compare and sum up this theories on the base of their application for particular types of analysis.
- Syllabus
- History of theoretical concepts of narrative analysis, in which they will be explored from different perspectives. Course will combine two approaches: (a) exploration of particular concepts and (b) critical debate between individual scholars (Chatman vs. Bordwell, Bordwell vs. Wollen, Carroll vs. Heath).
