- Course objectives
- The state exam should prove: - student´s ability to work critically with assigned primary and secondary literature, argue and respond effectively in a discussion - student´s knowledge of scientific and methodological fields - student´s ability to formulate basic theses and present a clear and well-structured exposition of a given problem.
- Syllabus
- State Mgr. exam. The subjects of exam: Basics of philosophy and humanities a) History of philosophy, systematic philosophy b) Basics of humanities Didactics of civics.

- Oral exam: Examined topics are published on the website of Dept. of Philosophy and the the departmental notice board. Selection and preparation of questions: - Student answers three questions, two in basics of philosophy and humanities, one in didactics of civics. - The answer to the question has to be based on the knowledge of literature and has to respect the following structure: - a) presentation of relevant primary and secondary literature - b) explicit formulation of problem - c) interpretation (own or adopted interpretation is accepted) - d) situation of problem and its interpretation in present context Part of the state exam is the defense of diploma thesis
