- Course objectives
- The objective of the course consists in working on student’s final thesis. The course is based on the regular consultations with the teachers of the course. At the end of the course students will be able to define the topic of the final thesis; describe the methods he/she intends to apply in the final thesis; schedule the project of the final thesis; compose the plan of the final thesis; evaluate the resources relevant for the topic of the final thesis; present the text of his or her final thesis.
- Syllabus
- The course prepares students for writing their final theses. It takes the form of an individual course. The students work independently in the course, studying the methodology of research, the principles of academic writing, and the formal aspects of writing a thesis. They are asked to submit assignments in an electronic form. Some of the assignments are exercises in various aspects of academic writing, others represent preparatory steps to writing the final thesis (delimitation of the topic, compiling working bibliography, collecting material).

- Teaching methods
- Individual work on the final thesis, consultations with the supervisor.
- Assessment methods
- The advisor awards the course-unit credit for the semester on the basis of progress made and student-advisor consultations. The student will submit the text of the thesis to the advisor at least 6 weeks before the beginning of the exam session.
