- Course objectives
- The aim of the minor B. A. thesis seminar is to provide information, experiences and methodological advices to students, who prepare their minor B.A. thesis.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to:
- to propose and describe the thesis table of contents
- to search and compare the relevant primary and secondary sources
- to analyze the issue under study
- to write the chapters of the thesis
- to resume and comment the knowledges
- to apply the metodology of writing the diploma thesis: synopsis, introduction, methods of text analysis, argumentation and conclusion. - Syllabus
- A student, who has chosen the topic for their minor B.A. thesis from the offer of individual teachers, attends the minor B.A. thesis seminar and consults their supervisor about the approach to and the outline of the thesis, about the required literature, technical properties and concrete problems concerning the assigned topic.

- Teaching methods
- Individual advisor-student tutorial in metodology of writing the diploma thesis: synopsis, introduction, methods of text analysis, argumentation and conclusion.
- Assessment methods
- The advisor awards the course-unit credit for the semester on the basis of examination of particular parts of diploma-thesis and students ability to work out the advisors comments on it.
