- Course objectives
- The student chooses the topic of his M.A. Diploma Thesis after a consultation with the teacher whou supervises her/his thesis.
The chosen topic refers to the Mediterranean region, student is able to understand literature in foreign languages according to her/his specialization.
The selected topic must be created using the application "Topic Lists".
A summary in one chosen foreign language (French, Italian, Modern Greek, Spanish) is obligatory. - Learning outcomes
- The student is able to:
- to propose the thesis table of contents
- to search and compare the relevant primary and secondary sources
- to analyze the issue under study
- to write the chapters of the thesis
- to resume the knowledges
- to apply the metodology of writing the diploma thesis: synopsis, introduction, methods of text analysis, argumentation and conclusion.
- to write a summary in one chosen foreign language (French, Italian, Modern Greek, Spanish) is obligatory. - Syllabus
- The nature of the syllabus depends on the topic of the M. A. Diploma Thesis. It usually includes: searching for the literature; searching in the sources; treatment of the constituent problems; formulation of individual chapters; treatment of the notes and supplements; list of the literature and sources
