Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to introduce to the students the basic terms, concepts and strategies of modern theory of narration, its main developmental periods, its connection with other disciplines and approaches and also with its specificity.
Learning outcomes
After finishing the course the students will be able to:
- understand essential narratological approaches and trends;
- critically compare various scholarly attitudes towards narration and its theory;
- view narratives in multimedia perspective.
