- Course objectives
- The course is based on learning and repeating the basics of this south Slavic language, its written and oral form. Students should gain knowledge of phonetic, morphology and word-forming in Serbian language and improve the ability to communicate in Serbian on the basic topics of everyday life.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- Communicate actively in Serbian;
- Manage daily situations (shopping, travelling, basic conversation);
- Talk about himself, his family and friends;
- Express his needs and wishes. - Syllabus
- Grammar: Dativ and Instrumental case, past and future tense, possesive pronouns. Vocabulary: family, home, nationalities and languages, deictive pronouns, seasons, travelling, celebrations, at the doctor´s, adjectives.

- Seminar - obligatory attendence (max. 3 absences).
- Assessment methods
- Attendance and active attitude. Credits will be granted based on either successfull absolving of weekly tests, or one-time test in the last week. Examination has the same requirements, plus essay written in seminary.
