- Course objectives
- The art of an effective presentation is very important not only for the studies, but also the career and social life. The aim of this course is to deal with presentation skills both in theory and practice.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing the course the student will: - know basic factors influencing the success or failure of most types of presentation; - know what to focus on during preparation and during the presentation itself; - be familiar with various types of presentations and their specifics; - know how to identify the aim, the target group, the content and form of the planned presentation so as to maximize its success; - know his/her own strengths in communication and presentation skills and know how to use them in planning and performing any type of presentations.

- Theory (workshops): Why to present? Types of presentations. How NOT to present. The basics of an effective presentation. Preparation-action-evaluation. Practice: students‘ own presentations and their evaluations.
