Course objectives
The aim is to introduce the phenomen of Czech broadsides. We will be dealing with the old prints from Moravská zemská knihovna. We will explore the typical issues of broadsides.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to -recognise the broadsides and describe them -tell the history of the broadsides in the european context, describe the Czech specifics -define the typical topics of broadsides -find the broadsides in the catalogues and databasis -describe a concrete song -write a hand-out
