Course objectives
The course pretends to offer the students a survey of the main issues concerning the practical issues that every translator and interpreter have to face in their practice.
Learning outcomes
Students get acquinted with traditional methods in interpreting and translation practice as well as with the latest techniques and trends.
Syllabus
  • The course is divided into two independent blocks. 1. Practical aspects of the translation process. 2. Practical aspects of interpretation. Students will be acquinted with the main principles of the interpretation process.

Teaching methods
Practical course. Students will get knowledge of the main issues concerning the process of translation and interpretation.

Class attendance is obligatory. Regular homework and preparation are recquired.
