- Course objectives
- This course provides a comprehensive overview of the basic editions of the diplomatic material, such as the Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae, the Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris Moraviae and the Regesta diplomatica nec non epistolaria Bohemiae et Moraviae. The overview also covers other editions of Czech diplomatic material until 1526, including documents produced by ecclesiastical and municipal administrations as well as those of the nobility.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to:
- give an overview of editions of medieval diplomatic material related to the Czech lands
- be familiar with the text, critical apparatus and notes of the edition Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae and apply this knowledge to other editions and collections of abstracts - Syllabus
