Course objectives
The purpose of the course is to introduce the student to the basic development of the Francophone culture in North America and to understand the specificities of shaping its society. At the end of the course, the student should be able to work with the cultural context of Canada and understand intercultural links and phenomena.
Learning outcomes
- understanding of the specificities of shaping the Francophone society in Canada - an overall knowledge of historical, cultural and social aspects of Quebec and other Francophone parts of America
