- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to apply the knowledge acquired when reading and listening to unknown business texts in Chinese; they should be able to discuss business topics in Chinese, to handle business correspondence and to act as business translators/ interpreters.

- The course will be taught online (distance learning). - students' home preparation includes: acquiring new vocabulary, preparation for text translation. The course has a seminar layout: reading and translation of texts, explanation of new grammar, interpretation of cultural realia in the texts, check of home assignments, oral and written exercises.
- Assessment methods
- Course completion is conditioned with regular attendance (max. 3 skipped classes tolerated), home preparation, active participation, and passing the final test. Evaluation: regular testing of new vocabulary (min.60%), new grammar; comprehension questions during the class. The final oral test will include reading and translating texts and talking on the studied topics in Chinese.
