Course objectives
A specialized seminar, which is conceived as a project course. Particular projects are related to conferences and cultural events organized by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, and they are thematically related to the long-term perspectives of the MU.
Learning outcomes
Students can prepare academic projects and they are able to present them properly.

  • 1. Methodological Introduction. Presentation of particular projects. 2. Division into working groups and task assignment. 3. Project work: Individual and group consultations I. 4. Project work: Individual and group consultations II. 5. Workshop I. Student presentations of draft proposals I. 6. Workshop II. Student presentations of draft proposals II. 7. Workshop III. Student presentations of draft proposals III. 8. Completion of the project: Individual and group consultations I. 9. Project completion: Individual and group consultations II. 10. Student presentations of completed projects I. 11. Student presentations of completed projects II. 12. Final evaluation.

1. Classes: seminars and workshops. 2. Individual and group consultations. Regular homework is required. Students should meet assignment submission deadlines.

This year there are two issues to choose from. 1) CAT - Translation: In cooperation with the Aspena Translation Agency. 2) Subtitling: In cooperation with the Czech Center in Madrid and the Ibérica Festival.
