Course objectives (in Czech)
Cieľom predmetu je rozšíriť základné vedomosti o historických reáliách pobaltského priestoru, predovšetkým jeho najstarších dejín a duchovnej kultúry. Tá zohráva aj v súčasnej litovskej a lotyšskej kultúre a umení dôležitú rolu.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Študent po absolvovaní predmetu bude schopný: - popísať etnogenézu baltských kmeňov - identifikovať jednotlivé baltské kmene - kriticky vyhodnotiť historické pramene - popísať predkresťanské božstvá Litovcov a Lotyšov - určiť rozdiely medzi baltským polyteizmom a ugrofínskym šamanizmom a animizmom - analyzovať predkresťanské relikty v baltskom folklóre - vysvetliť vplyv mytologického dedičstva v modernej kultúre a umení

  • - etnogenéza baltských kmeňov - najstaršie pramene a doklady o osídlení pobaltského priestoru - kritické vyhodnotenie prameňov "interpretatio christiana" - polyteizmus starých Baltov - šamanizmus ugrofínskych kmeňov - baltské božstvá v komparácii s indoeurópskymi bratrancami - etnografické pramene a predkresťanské relikty v pobaltskom folklóre
