Syllabus
  • 1.Fragment, torso, ruin: questions of memory, lost past, loss of the whole
  • 2.Ancient and modern ruins
  • 3.The torso and its relation to the human body, the reduction of the figure to torso, fragment, destruction of the body and the new composition of parts
  • 4.Fragmentary vision and decentralized image composition, the role of photography
  • 5.The combination of fragments: collage, photomontage, assemblage and the transformation of their meanings
  • 6.Fragmentation, fragmentation, layering, overlapping of partial motifs in the second half of the 20th century and the transformation of meanings
  • 7.Accumulation of residues, formlessness, Junk Art, architectural adhocism
