Integrated Chinese Level 1 Part1 (L.11-L.10)
- The course is offered exclusively to the students of the Chinese Department of Masaryk University.
- Exceptions could be made if an Erasmus student has Chinese Studies as their major at their home university and if the student can present documented proof. Language proficiency certificates (HSK/TOCFL) are NOT accepted. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
form simple sentences in modern Chinese (in speech and writing)
understand simple fluent speech by Chinese native speaker
read simple text in modern Chinese - Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- use spoken and written version of new vocabulary
- use new grammatical phenomena
- answer basic questions and create basic sentences
- react properly in basic dialogue on textbook topics - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- The course is taught by Chinese native speaker who combines various teaching methods (conversation, questions answering, listening, written tasks, presentations etc.)
- Assessment methods
- Final written and oral test.
Besides the test, the following rules must be observed:
1) 4 unexcused absences allowed in one semester. In case of 5 or more absences the student fails. Doctor's notes should be presented to the Study Department of the Faculty.
2) The students fullfils all tasks given by the teacher (homeworks, presentations etc.) Unpreparedness is judged as absence.
3) Students must not switch study groups, unless the teacher explicitly approved it. - Language of instruction
