- Course objectives
- The goal of the lesson is to continue introducing students to the basics of Coptic language of Sahidic dialect. Students will be introduced to basic grammatical categories, according to next 8 lessons of the textbook by Layton. Students will be able to read and understand primitive Coptic texts.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be acquainted with other basic grammatical categories of the Sahidic dialect of the Coptic language (Coptic verbs, durative sentences, non-durative conjugations, conversions) and they will be able to read simple sentences of various types.

- 1. Durative sentences. 2. Non-durative conjugation I. 3. Bound states of the infinitive. 4. Non-durative conjugation II. 5. Causative infinitive. 6. Preterit conversion. 7. Circumstantial conversion. 8. Relative conversion.
