- Course objectives
- The course aims to teach the doctoral student to communicate within the scientific community, i.e. to learn the basics of presenting their specialist work and participating in public critical discussions in forums in the specialist field.
- Learning outcomes
- The doctoral student will acquire the ability to present his/her specialist work and actively participate in public critical discussions in forums in the specialist field at the level of conferences, symposiums, workshops, or seminars for doctoral students.
- Syllabus
- The doctoral student will present an academic paper related to the topic of his/her dissertation, or the methods used in its preparation. The theme, scope and method of presentation of the paper are determined on the basis of an agreement between the supervisor and the doctoral student. The paper may be presented at scientific conferences, symposiums, specialized colloquiums, or in a seminar for doctoral students.

- Teaching methods
- Teaching is in the form of individual consultations with the supervisor.
- Assessment methods
- Credit is awarded by the supervisor in the case where the student demonstrates mastery of the relevant competence, i.e. mastery of the ability to present his/her specialist work and participate in public critical discussions in forums in the specialist field at the level of conferences, symposiums, workshops, or seminars for doctoral students.
