- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basics of auxiliary historical sciences or further develop their existing knowledge of these disciplines, and introduce them to current trends and research topics in the individual disciplines. The course is divided into seven blocks, in each of which are three seminars in Czech and one in English. Participants choose the course that corresponds to their level of knowledge and focus. One of the seminars in Czech is intended for beginners and intermediate students, i.e., for those who have not studied auxiliary historical sciences or who have only basic knowledge. The other seminars are intended for upper intermediate and advanced students who would like to further develop their existing knowledge and skills in the field of auxiliary historical sciences and find out about current research topics and trends.
- Learning outcomes
- Graduates will acquire basic knowledge and skills in the field of auxiliary historical sciences or further develop their existing knowledge and gain an overview of current trends and research topics in the field.

- Literatura je zadána individuálně podle probírané problematiky.

- The teaching blocks consist of an introductory lecture followed by a seminar based on joint reading, interpretation and discussion of historical sources.

- Active participation in at least five of the seven teaching blocks is a prerequisite for receiving credit.
