- This an example of how project planning could look like: Week 1: Preliminary online meeting with Brno people February 10 or 11. Week 2: 17 February online kick off session (15:00): Introducing lecturers/mentors and project. Starting up the challenge with your group. Start Engage Phase (brainstorm, decide on Essential question). Make a planning, divide work, divide roles, decide when to meet etc. Week 3-4: Investigate Phase in groups. Investigating what you need for the final design, using literature. Speak to experts and peers. Start working towards a Solution (Act phase) Week 5-6: Design a prototype (design) for your Essential Question. Gather feedback from teachers/experts on your prototype and make revisions to finalize your prototype. Prepare (1) your presentation and powerpoint and your report (see rubric IYC). (note: discuss local holidays, individual teaching schedules or other obligations during one of the first meetings to avoid frustrations with regards to planning). Task 1: Make a bi-weekly appointment and meet your assigned university mentor to discuss progress Task 2: Submit your bi-weekly reflection to your assigned university mentor. The request to submit and the structure of the reflection will be shared by your mentor through email Task 3: Share powerpoint and report with your university lecturer before 27 March (midnight). Final assessment (presentation and report). Check the rubric for requirements. Each group will be scheduled for an online presentation of 20-25 minutes, followed with a short 5” discussion. Presentations are scheduled in rounds of two groups on 31st March or 1st April. Schedule tba.
