- Course objectives
- MUST-READ – books you haven't managed to read, films you haven't seen, revision (not just before the state exam).
There will be 6 screenings during the semester, followed by discussion related to the literature for the class. The course assumes active student participation in the discussion. - Learning outcomes
- The student after completing the course:
- will be familiar with classic Polish literary works,
- gain an overview of the development of Polish cinema in the given period,
- be able to analyse selected films,
- be able to discuss these issues in an informed manner. - Syllabus

- Projection, analysis, discussion. Students may be asked to write brief responses to the required readings before class.
- Assessment methods
- Active participation in class (max. 2 absences) and completion of homework. Students will end the course by submitting a short paper (2 pages) on a selected film (from a list) that they have not seen in the seminar.
