Course objectives
The elective course is designed for Master's students of Computational Linguistics. The aim of the course is to connect the theoretical knowledge gained during the study in practice. The credit will be awarded for the employer's confirmation of the number of hours worked, a brief description of the activity and the assessment of the student's practice. The student can choose the internship without any constraint. Although it is strongly advised to consult the choice with the supervisor. The scope of the work should fall within the field of computational linguistics, linguistics or informatics. The internship can be in form of an external cooperation. The student will prove that he worked at least 40 hours in given calendar year (for one or more employers).
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the internship the student will be able to:
- apply theoretical knowledge,
- understand the labor market and find suitable employer.

Consultation, individual or team work, internship.
Assessment methods
Confirmation of completed traineeship (stamp of the employer), at least 40 hours (cumulatively) in given calendar year, a description of the activities performed and student's assessment of the practice.
