V prosemináři se procvičuje znalost a analýza především památek římské architektury. Důraz je kladen na terminologii, strukturální analýzu reliktů římské architektury a možnosti jejich rekonstrukce včetně modelování.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1. Architektura řecká a římská - helénská tektonika a římská stereotomie.& 2. Vitruvius: úvod do jeho díla.& 3. Vitruvius: architektonická typologie a teorie řádů.& 4. Etruská architektura.& 5. Republikánské stavitelstvíI.: posvátný okrsek na Largo Argentina.& 6. Republikánské stavitelství II.: posvátná místa v Terracině, Tivoli a v Praeneste.& 7. Martovo pole v republikánské a raně císařské době.& 8. Forum Romanum, císařská fora a fora provinční.& 9. Veřejné stavby I.: bazilika.& 10. Veřejné stavby II.: divadlo, amfiteátr a cirkus.& 11. Dům a palác.& 12. Římská villa.& 13. Triumfální oblouk.& 14. Thermy a jejich význam pro raně novověkou architekturu.& 15. Římská architektura ve spojení s jinými kulty (keltskými, orientálními a raně křesťanskými).& 16. Vodovody, užitková architektura.
