- Course objectives
- The seeking for the understanding to the scientifical knowledge not only in the history of philosophy but also at present. A brief overview of the philosophers' ideas from the Antique till XIX. cent. Closely will be discussed the ideas about the science in XX. cent., mainly so-called historical schools of the philosophy of science. Also some selected problems of the scientifical approach to the reality will be studied with special interest for the relation between the natural and social sciences. The seminars will be given to the students' papers about the significant literature.
