Course objectives
Interpretation of poems by Jaroslav Seifert > The course aims at the interpretation of selected poems by Jaroslav Seifert, > typical of the poet's development. (Form: students' individual > presentations, in-class interpretation.)
Syllabus
  • 1. Město v slzách. 2. Samá láska. 3. Na vlnách T.S.F. 4. Slavík zpívá špatně. 5. Poštovní holub. 6. Jablko z klína. Ruce Venušiny. 7. Osm dní, Zhasněte světla. 8. Zpíváno do rotačky, Jaro sbohem. 9. Vějíř Boženy Němcové. 10. Světlem oděná, Kamenný most. 11. Přilba hlíny. Maminka. 12. Koncert na ostrově. Halleyova kometa. 13. Morový sloup. 14. Býti básníkem.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Podmínkou pro ukončení semináře bude písemná práce, v níž bude s využitím odborné literatury interpretována některá Seifertova báseň nebo básnická skladba (obsah práce bude shodný s tím, co si posluchači připravili pro vystoupení v semináři).
