- Course objectives
- Through this subjetct the student has the chance to practice linguistic skills as reading and oral comprehension, which are quite reduced in time in the language subjects due to a lack of time. Once the student has passed this subject and Katalanstina III, he/she would be able to successfully write the exam for the "elemental/vantage" certificate of the Institut Ramon Llull.

- En finalitzar aquest curs l'estudiant hauria de ser capaç de comprendre conferčncies i discursos llargs i, fins i tot, seguir una argumentació complexa si el tema és relativament familiar. Poder comprendre la majoria de les notícies de televisió i els programes dactualitat. Poder comprendre la majoria de les pellícules en registre estŕndard. Llegir articles i informes sobre problemes contemporanis en quč els autors adopten una posició o un determinat punt de vista. Comprendre prosa literŕria contemporŕnia. Comunicar-se amb una certa espontaneďtat i fluďdesa, cosa que fa possible la interacció amb parlants nadius. Poder participar activament en una conversa en contextos familiars, presentant i defensant les seves opinions. Presentar descripcions clares i detallades sobre una ŕmplia gamma de temes relatius als seus centres dinterčs. Poder explicar el seu punt de vista sobre un tema i exposar els avantatges i els inconvenients de diferents opcions. Escriure textos clars i detallats sobre una ŕmplia gamma de temes relatius als seus interessos. Poder escriure un assaig o informe i transmetre una informació o donar raons a favor o en contra duna opinió determinada. Poder escriure cartes que remarquin la importŕncia que tenen per a ell alguns fets o algunes experičncies.
