Course objectives
The lecture and the discussion form of teaching will be employed. The lecture deals with selected authors, novels as well as with selected theories.
Syllabus
  • The stress will be put on: 1) Situation in the 50's and 60's of the 20th century; 2) The Quiet Revolution ant the relationship between esthetics and politics(Ferron, Aquin, Godbout); 3) Feminist mouvement and its influence (Brossard, France Théoret, Louky Bersianik); 4) Immigrant literature (Kokis, Laferriere, Chen).
