Cíle předmětu
In parallel with brief considerations of fundamental aspects of history,geography language and identity, the course will focus firstly on elements of the writing of classic early twentieth century writers and then move to the work of more contemporary figures. In both cases the emphasis will be as much on the way in which such writing expresses, dramatises and negotiates cultural issues raised in the early seminars as on the writers' art.
