Course objectives
The aim of this course is three-fold. Firstly, students will be acquainted with the main concerns of the classical testing theory and with subsequent developments. Secondly, the characteristics and researched performance of a variety of testing techniques will be considered. Thirdly, the group will experience the practical operations involved in test construction - a working test will be designed, developed, administered and evaluated. The option is intended for future teachers, preferably those who are or have been on the "Course in ELT Methodology" (Course no. 29500 and 29501).
Syllabus

Assessment: seminar work, credit test, assignment (test construction). / Hodnocení - průběžné hodnocení práce v seminářích, zápočtový test, závěrečná práce (prezentace, analýza a evaluace konstruovaného testu).
