Course objectives

The lecture is focused on aproaches used in syntactic analysis, on types and modalities in simple sentences, on types of paragraphs and the position of sentences. Sentence elements, importance and posotion in the sentence. Problems of word order and the analysis of speech.

Syllabus (in Czech)

• Analýza pojmů "phrase", "énoncé", "énonciation". Postupy užívané v syntaktické analýze - substituce, komutace. Typy a modalita věty jednoduché. Typy souvětí z hlediska postavení vět - juxtapozice, koordinace, subordinace, korelace. Větné členy. Problematika francouzského slovosledu - inverze, dislokace, "détachement", "mise en relief". Analýza a typologie promluvy, funkční perspektiva větná.
