Course objectives
The seminar is focused mainly on Czech dialects, from both synchronic and diachronic points of view, on their characteristic features and on the methodology of the discipline. Attention is paid also to current tendencies in spoken Czech, with particular regard to the language of the city of Brno. Research work outside the faculty is usually a part of the curriculum as well.
