This lesson is intended for the magister study. The prerequsite is the succesful passing of the bachelor examination.

Course objectives
There are following spheres to be explained: Teaching of foreign languages generally; history of methods of the foreign language teaching; teaching of the pronounciation, the teaching of grammar; the teaching of vocabulary; the dealing of texts in the foreign languages teaching (reading and hearing; teaching of speaking and writing; the didactics of literature; motivation; evaluation and corecture of mistakes; analysis of textbooks. The first part of the lesson is lecture, the student discuss the themes with the assistance of materials for this themes in the group in the second part of the lesson.

Dealing of texts in the foreign languages teaching a)reading b)hearing; 7. Teaching of speaking and writing; 8. Didactics of literature; 9. Motivation; 10. Evaluation and corecture of mistakes; 11. Analysis of textbooks.

lecture - class discussion, group project, homework (attandance: at least 70%) credit: term paper (the analysis of a chosen German language textbook and comment on it). Handover until the penultimate week of the examination pereiod
