Course objectives
The course purpose: to acquaint students with the basic problems of this subject, to learn them to be expressed by clear, correct and cultural Russian. use the basic theoretical knowledge about the culture of speech as a discipline, about the communicative qualities of speech.At the end of the course students should be able to: work with pronouncing dictionary; analyze the norm of Russian language; deduce and explain the exemle of the speech from communicative qualities of speech and identify the deviations from the standard. justify and bring serious arguments to support his or her thesis. Eventually, he or she will be able to propose a solution in accord with the standard.

  • 1.Subject and its aims. 2. Concepts "language" and "speech". Speech types. 3. Concept a national language, Russian literary language, a spoken language, a dialect, a slang. 4. Genres of communications. 5.Qualities of speech. 6.Riches of speech. 7.Cleanliness of speech. 8.Accuracy of speech. Logicality. 9.Expressiveness. 10.Relevance of speech. 11.Clearness of speech.
