Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to make students acquainted with the practical side of research work in connection with the connoisseurship and art historical museology, especially with the problems of attributions and dating of the medieval works of arts.
Syllabus
  • Main objectives of the course are the different aspects of the medieval material culture, especially oft the panel paintings and polychrome curved works, and of the specific forms of the medieval works of arts – style, form and function with taking account of the material and technology, iconography and the problems of restorations research.
