Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following:
acquainting students with basic criteria of museum exhibitions criticism;
application theory in practice;
Syllabus
  • Princliples of museum's presentation in practice.
  • Sciences in museum and its specifics in museum presentation.
  • Types of museums and its problems in museum presentation.
  • Basic standards of criticism of exhibitions.
  • Principal lacks and mistakes in methodology and presentation of museum exhibitions.
  • Research of influence of museum exhibitions to museums visitors.
  • Museum exhibitions as a theme for review in journals and in mass media.
